About Me

Mary She is an Egyptian-American singer/songwriter who grew up in the Bay Area.

She starting singing about the same age she could start talking. At the age of 6, she learned piano and 4 years later, she began learning the harp, as well. She now added two self taught instruments to her list: ukulele and guitar. She grew up singing in a choir for 10 years and performed in places such as Carnegie Hall (NYC), Denmark, and Sweden.

Growing up, her influences included Billy Joel, The Beatles, Paul Simon, the BeeGees, Patsy Cline, Irving Berlin, Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke, and more. However, she discovered her own taste in music. She found her love for R&B and Soul from artists such as Summer Walker, Snoh Aalegra, Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, TLC, Usher, Alicia Keys, Mac Ayres, and more. She began to release original music in January 2020 and lots of her unreleased music can be found on Soundcloud. Along with “Bittersweet”, her vocals can be found on her duet with LilTrxptendo’s “Babygirl”.
